Sheep and Goat Farming

The Government of Yukon’s Sheep and Goat Control Order came into effect on January 1, 2020. During the implementation period (January to December 2019), YAA worked with sheep and goat owners to monitor the Control Order’s impact on the industry.

YAA strives to be responsive to issues relating to the Control Order. We initiate regular meetings and communications with Government of Yukon’s Animal Health Unit and the following national and international organizations and groups:
