- Labeled and dated: name, title of creation, ingredients or highlights
- No commercial mixes or fillings allowed.

- General Appearance: 20 points
- Texture: 20 points
- Flavour & Aroma: 30 points
- Yukon Grown Ingredients tiered scale:
- 10 points (minimum 1 Yukon-grown ingredient)
- 20 points (50% Yukon-grown)
- 30 points (75% Yukon-grown)
Categories:
A1. Cakes
- Minimum Size: 5″ round, single-layer
- Criteria:
- Even rise and colour
- Light, tender, springy texture
- Smooth, not-too-thick icing
A2. Muffins
- Minimum Quantity: 4 muffins
- Criteria:
- Symmetrical with round tops
- Medium-fine grain, moist
- No burnt or off-flavours
A3. Candies
- Minimum Quantity: 12 pieces
- Criteria:
- Uniform, bite-sized
- Smooth (not grainy) texture
- No burnt or off-flavours
