YAA was proud to roll through this year’s Canada Day Parade with a float celebrating Yukon’s farming spirit! Pulled by an antique tractor, the float featured hay bales, historic photos, and YAA banners, showcasing local agriculture. Big thanks to our members and volunteers who helped bring the float to life and to everyone who cheered us on along the route!

The Yukon Agricultural Association hosted a full day of events marking Nuffield Canada’s 75th anniversary. With farm tours, a panel on “Farming Against the Odds,” a locally sourced pig roast, and an inspiring keynote by Chris Koch, the event brought together over 90 attendees to celebrate Yukon agriculture, build connections, and share ideas.
